The waste crisis in Europe is growing

support for paper recycling companies of the European Union

Europe is experiencing a crisis related to the growth of consumer waste. In this region of the world today, ways to solve problems associated with waste generation are actively being sought. At the same time, great attention is paid to paper packaging, which is a significant part of the waste generated. However, businesses are lobbying for the transition to using packaging made specifically from paper. Its representatives claim that it is more environmentally friendly than plastic. On the one hand, this is true. On the other hand, it is paper packaging that has created problems in Europe today and is causing an increase in the volume of consumer waste. There is already an uncontrolled increase in waste, most of which is used packaging made from paper.

As a result of the uncontrolled growth of waste, the European Union has begun to revise the rules to combat this problem. The analysis revealed that not all food packaging that ends up as waste can be recycled after use. Since in order to package certain products in it, it is necessary to improve its resistance to external damage and the influence of ambient temperature on the condition of the product. As a result, paper packaging becomes unsuitable for recycling purposes, as stated by paper recycling companies. As a result, waste is generated that accumulates and becomes a threat to the environment.
