The Netherlands is actively pursuing recycling. The country’s authorities support a closed cycle. This means that waste is recycled and put back into production. As a result, goods are made from it that are in high demand among consumers. Work is underway to sort waste at the stage of waste generation. That is, residents themselves are engaged in waste sorting. However, there are still problems. Some waste has to be sorted by enterprises after waste collection.
It should be noted that waste is very different. It is not only double lined kraft, regular paper, but also plastic and so on. Much can be recycled. And everything necessary is being done to ensure that waste is recycled in greater quantities and turned into new materials suitable for further production. Moreover, the statistics in the Netherlands are disappointing. Every year, the volume of waste increases due to consumption. In some large cities in the Netherlands, the volume of waste per person per year has increased several times over the past few years. However, this is not a reason to be upset. New enterprises are opening that are engaged in processing. We support the activity of this European country, as we believe that processing and closed cycle, in particular, is the path that all of humanity should follow.
