The UK condemns the activities of sea pirates in the Red Sea. Their activities affect the supply of secondary raw materials sent from Europe to those countries where goods can be transported by sea. Many shipping companies have already changed their routes. This decision has concerned European suppliers of recyclable materials. Firstly, transportation prices have increased. Secondly, customers began to cancel their orders. In addition, transportation times have increased, which also negatively affected the export of secondary raw materials. Due to current problems, suppliers are forced to increase prices, although export prices were previously agreed upon.
A lot of cargo has to be sent by sea. Not only goods and materials are transported by sea, but also secondary raw materials, including waste paper, in particular DLK paper. The activities of pirates are not only criminal, but also cause enormous damage to trade and other areas. Since pirate attacks occur on ships with different cargoes, it is natural that the shipping industry itself, as well as those who use its services, suffer. In particular, the processing sector is suffering. Recycled customers do not receive the ordered product on time or at all. The work of processing enterprises is disrupted, which leads to losses. Pirates are a threat to the modern world. It is not only the countries adjacent to the Red Sea that are struggling with it. However, there is a problem with them. The world community, alas, suffers significantly from their activities.
