Recycled paper is in demand. Its price is rising. At least, this is what was observed in Southeast Asia this summer. Recycled paper manufacturers have raised the price of their product. As a result, paper manufacturers who actively use recycled paper for production purposes have suffered. Waste paper, including old corrugated containers, is bought by recyclers for less money. By raising prices, they began to make more profit.
However, it should be noted that prices for recycled paper are very unstable. In May and June, they decreased on the Chinese market. After a while, the cost of the product increased. It has been noted that price instability is a characteristic of the modern recycled paper market. The same can be said about the cost of waste paper. Its price is constantly changing, either up or down. As a waste broker, we have to constantly monitor prices in order to offer and buy waste paper on mutually beneficial terms.
The situation on the secondary raw materials market is unstable. This has been the case for several years now. What influences the cost of waste paper? Various factors influence the prices at which secondary paper raw materials are offered. If there are many offers, then, as a result, the cost of waste paper decreases. However, there are other factors that can influence the rise in price. These can be, for example, an increase in transportation costs for the delivery of waste paper in bulk to different countries. We try to offer waste paper and buy it at favorable prices, which allows us to cooperate with many buyers and sellers of this, by the way, difficult in terms of pricing product.
