New processing plants are opening all over the world. Now a new enterprise will soon be built in Australia that will recycle used paper. This is facilitated not only by, for example, the OCC 11 waste paper price it is more profitable to buy waste paper and make new paper from it than to produce products from primary cellulose. In addition, the authorities of all developed countries are trying to support such projects, as they understand how important it is to build new processing plants. After all, they are beneficial. With their help, it is possible to recycle waste and not send it to a landfill, where it pollutes the environment.
The processing plant will be built in South East Queensland. Here, it is planned to send 220,000 tons of waste paper for recycling every year, not only from surrounding areas, but from the whole of northern New South Wales. After processing, the resulting material will be sent for export. About 40,000,000 US dollars will be invested in the construction of a new plant for recycling used paper. This is government investment. Another 97,000,000 US dollars will be added by representatives of industrial business.
