European recycling companies have pledged to recycle more waste paper and cardboard waste. Under this commitment, they plan to achieve recycling rates of 76 percent of all waste generated in Europe. Today, there are already high rates in this area. However, the volume of processing in the total volume is not yet quite such, which would allow us to talk about large batches. As a result of the plans, which will be implemented by 2030, it will be possible to provide a more complete cycle for handling paper and pulp.
It should be noted that waste paper and cardboard, in particular, are popular products in Europe in terms of processors’ interest in them. At the same time, paper companies are interested in recycled waste paper. In addition, the authorities of European countries are directly interested in increasing the volume of processing. In this way, everyone together will be able to improve the situation and recycle more waste that is generated in the process of consumption.
